Fashion can be high and low. On the one hand, it can be a reflection of personal identity and self-expression. It can also be a reflection of much broader political, cultural or religious trends. How do the pieces in this exhibit relate to your understanding of fashion? Is fashion art?
Blinks and Buttons is an interesting project by Sascha Pohflepp that asks us to consider photography as a networked event. The device functions as a camera, but rather than taking pictures it aggregates other people's images that were taken at the exact moment the button on this device was pressed. It literally captures a moment in time.
